The Coachella Valley Water District |CVWD is seeking an experienced and collaborative Engineering Manager to help lead critical infrastructure initiatives for a dynamic regional water agency serving more than 270,000 residents across a 1,000-square-mile service area.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Engineering Manager oversees the planning, design, and construction of the District's capital improvement projects and manages the operations of the Engineering Division. This role provides leadership for a broad portfolio of water, wastewater, and irrigation infrastructure projects while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is a technically strong and forward-thinking engineering professional with experience managing capital projects, administering consultant contracts, and leading multidisciplinary teams. This position works closely with internal departments, contractors, developers, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to support reliable and sustainable water infrastructure across the Coachella Valley.
