The Coachella Valley Water District |CVWD is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Engineering to lead critical infrastructure initiatives for one of Southern California's largest and most dynamic water agencies. This executive role oversees engineering operations, development services, and the District's Capital Improvement Program, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in alignment with long-term water reliability and sustainability goals.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director provides leadership for engineering planning, contract administration, and project delivery while working closely with the Board of Directors, regulatory agencies, developers, and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong technical expertise and experience managing complex capital programs within a public utility or infrastructure environment.
