‪Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility currently under construction in Waco TX. The 640,000 sqft. facility is situated in Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule with a target start date of January 2026. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of Electrolit TM , the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US. ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Position Summary ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

The primary responsibility of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the facility’s wastewater treatment systems. This role is critical in supporting production activities by maintaining environmental compliance, protecting company assets, and ensuring the plant meets all local, state, and federal wastewater regulations. This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require a NDA. The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator will report to the EHS&S Manager.

‪Principal Duties ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

1. Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment including pumps, screens, tanks, clarifiers, and chemical feed systems.

2. Operate and monitor the Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) system

3. Collect and analyze wastewater samples; record, interpret, and report results to ensure compliance with discharge permits and environmental standards.

4. Perform daily rounds and inspections of equipment to detect malfunctions, leaks, or abnormal conditions.

5. Adjust chemical feed rates, flows, and processes to optimize treatment performance.

6. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and regulatory documentation as required by environmental agencies.

7. Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues; coordinate with maintenance for larger repairs.

8. Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

9. Ensure safe handling, storage, and usage of chemicals and other materials.

10. Collaborate with production teams to forecast and manage wastewater loads.

11. Participate in safety training and follow all company and regulatory safety standards.

12. Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Must be TEEX Certified as a Certified Water Professional (CWP) in Wastewater Track
TCEQ Wastewater Operator License Class B (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) required.
Experience working in Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) and Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems highly preferred.
Minimum of 35 years experience in wastewater treatment operations, ideally in a manufacturing or food/beverage facility.
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot pumps, valves, instrumentation, and process systems.
Knowledge of wastewater regulations, compliance reporting, and laboratory testing methods.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and respond effectively to emergencies.
Flexible schedule; onsite 6 hours per day, 5 days a week (MF) and must be available to be on call 24/7 for remote oversight of shift workers.
Basic computer skills; experience with SCADA systems a plus.

Skills

1. Fluency in English is required, and Spanish is a plus.

Other Requirements

Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
