JOB TITLE: IWS (Industrial Waste) Technician - Semiconductor
SUMMARY:
The IWS Technician will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and repairing industrial water facility systems in a manufacturing environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and maintain industrial wastewater treatment and purification systems, including biological treatment systems, which support our operations facilities.
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Utilize quality systems and diagnosing process issues in industrial treatment systems.
- Maintain Analytical equipment.
- Take liquid and solid samples and performing routine laboratory tests.
- Utilize Maximo Maintenance planning software
- Utilize SCADA and Cimplicity control systems
- Interact with the factory and other customers and stakeholders.
- Treat studies of different chemical constituents feeding Industrial Waste system
- Schedule for this position is Wednesday - Friday with every other Saturday from 5:45pm until 6:15am
Requirements
Position Requirements:
- Prior IWS/UPW experience.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience
- Autocad and/or Visio software.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Data driven decision making skills.
- Structured problem-solving skills.
- Role modeling safety.
- General system troubleshooting skills.
- Be able to provide technical support on water resources or treatment issues to government agencies.
- Be able to conduct water quality studies to identify and characterize water pollutant sources.
- Must be able to work a night shift

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
- Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
