$26.23 - $38.03 Hourly
The Wastewater Lift Station Technician reports to the Lift Station Utility Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include:
- Visit and observe every lift station daily.
- Perform reactive maintenance daily on wastewater lift station equipment.
- Generate Lucity work order weekly.
- Perform preventive maintenance monthly on wastewater lift station equipment.
- Prepare monthly reports regarding actions taken the previous month.
- Exercise valves and ARV maintenance.
- Work with contractors, scheduling during major repairs.

Must be able to work in extreme temperatures that are part of the Arizona climate.
You must be available to work a 4-10 schedule within our service hours: Monday through Thursday, 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM. On call, standby is required one week out of the month (subject to change). While on call, work 4 hours overtime each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The work of a lift station technician requires working near wastewater.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of specialized or technical training beyond high school in mechanical, plumbing/electrical, and basic sewer operations.
- 2 years of on-the-job experience in the same.
- Mandatory On-Call Duty.
Licensing and Certifications
- Must possess an ADEQ Grade 1 ADEQ Wastewater Collections System Operator certification at time of hire and obtain a Grade 2 ADEQ Wastewater Collections System Operator certification within 1 year of hire.
- Must possess a Class B CDL permit with Tanker Endorsement at the time of hire and obtain a Class B CDL license with Tanker Endorsement within 6 months of hire.
This position is an At-Will position, FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.
