Mb Staffing is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform chemical, biological, and microbiological testing in a fast-paced wastewater laboratory. This role supports regulatory compliance, environmental safety, and laboratory accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct wastewater analyses (BOD, COD, TSS, nutrients, pH, E. coli, etc.)
- Collect, preserve, and transport samples following QA/QC protocols
- Operate and calibrate lab equipment and automatic samplers
- Maintain accurate records and enter data into LIMS
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media
- Follow safety procedures and support lab quality standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science (3+ yrs lab experience) or
- Associate degree (5+ yrs wastewater lab experience)
- Strong wet chemistry and microbiology skills
- Ability to obtain Wastewater Laboratory Analyst I license within 18 months
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varied environmental conditions
Preferred:
- Experience in a NELAP-accredited laboratory
Pay: $75,500.00 - $83,000.00 per year
