About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Chemical Engineer or Chemist to join our team and help develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for mineral extraction from brine resources. This role spans lab research, pilot testing, and field deployment, with direct impact on scaling next-generation extraction technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop materials, coatings, and chemical processes to enhance mineral extraction efficiency from brine systems
- Plan and execute laboratory experiments and field trials independently, including pilot-scale testing
- Analyze experimental data and translate findings into actionable process improvements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational protocols
- Support product validation and performance benchmarking in real-world environments
- Collaborate on sensor integration, data analysis, and process monitoring systems
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to engineering design decisions
- Communicate results and insights to internal teams, partners, and customers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or related field
- Strong foundation in process engineering, brine chemistry, and materials science
- Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and process optimization
- Familiarity with process simulation tools, sensor systems, or data analytics platforms is a plus
- Experience in field work, pilot systems, or industrial environments preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; Spanish is a plus)
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel to field sites (U.S. and international) as needed
