Job Overview
Sigma Associates, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector with experience in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), SCADA, and electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities. The successful candidate will support field inspection activities, verify construction quality, and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
Responsibilities:
The project scope involves upgrading most of SCADA for nearly all water treatment facilities.
Primary I&C/SCADA inspector in addition to technical requirements will provide following inspection services:
- Assisting with construction monitoring and inspection
- Meeting with contractors, city officials and others to resolve problems in the field
- Investigating complaints from the general public concerning construction projects
- Preparing of daily inspection logs and reports
- Maintaining of project records and documentation
- Reviewing and processing of contractor’s application for payment
- Attending project meetings
- Training inspection staff
Skills:
- Proficiency in quality control and quality inspection methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed decisions.
- Experience in construction inspection practices.
- Strong blueprint reading skills to interpret complex schematics.
-Knowledge of building processes and construction techniques.
- Familiarity with pipeline inspection procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
