Water/Wastewater Project Engineer - Atlanta, Georgia

Are you a seasoned engineering professional passionate about delivering impactful water infrastructure projects? We're seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join a growing team focused on technical excellence, proactive project delivery, and leadership across complex municipal water and wastewater initiatives in the Atlanta, Georgia region.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects of differing sizes.
- Perform engineering work in process design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, including engineering services and construction management.
- Work on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for diverse projects.
- Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; handle data entry and analysis; and support projects through the construction phase.
- Assist Project Managers in supervising and coordinating the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and other team members for specific assignments.
- Provide engineering services during construction.
- Participate in field activities such as pilot testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- 6 to 15 years of directly relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Georgia.
- Strong application of engineering principles, including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with clients and project teams.
