- College degree (minimum Associate) with major related to technology, electrical or mechanical systems. Experience in supervisory or management roles. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Experience may be substituted for accredited formal education (technical school or college degree).
- Experience with wastewater treatment process control equipment & systems, and related infrastructure.
- Experience in managing, repairing, and maintaining electrical & mechanical systems; using computerized maintenance management systems and electronic work order systems.
- Knowledge of purchasing and procurement methods, obtaining/using contracts, quotation & competitive bidding processes, on-call service agreements.
- Proficient with office communications equipment and software, i.e., spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail.
- Possess and maintain valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to District policy.
- Minimum qualifications cannot be obtained through on-the-job training
