Why is this Role Essential?
Concerto is seeking a Facility & Water Specialist who oversees water treatment responsibilities, facility maintenance and assistance with supply coordination in Concerto’s dialysis dens, whether at established units or related to new den startups and/or closures. Facility & Water Specialists are the subject matter experts on the functionality of Concerto’s dialysis machines and the primary contact for coordinating machines and facility maintenance and repairs at the clinic level.
What Will You Do?
- Clinical Support & Training
Provide guidance to staff on water treatment and hemodialysis equipment operation and principles.
- Equipment Maintenance & Repairs
Maintain, repair, and oversee all water treatment and medical equipment, ensuring proper documentation and disinfection.
Calibrate and document testing equipment, collect water samples for analysis, and report any non-compliance with standards.
- Facility & Unit Management
Support new dialysis unit setups and closures, including site assessments, construction monitoring, and IT setup.
- Facility Maintenance & Safety
Conduct regular inspections, coordinate repairs, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What’s Required?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dialysis biomedical/technical field
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation, as significant travel via car between units is required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This role involves prolonged walking, standing, stooping, and bending, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Strong focus and attention to detail are essential. The work environment includes temperature control, moderate noise levels, and potential exposure to infectious materials.
