The City of Wichita is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Division Manager – Water Pumping & Production to lead the operations of one of the largest and most critical water systems in the region. This high-level leadership role is responsible for overseeing the planning, treatment, production, and pumping of potable water—ensuring that over 400,000 residents have access to safe, reliable drinking water every day.
This position provides strategic direction to a team of plant and program managers, laboratory, and administrative staff, and plays a key role in budget planning, capital improvement prioritization, and regulatory compliance. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert on modern water treatment practices, aquifer storage and recovery, and system optimization, reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Public Works & Utilities.
