Description

Job Summary: The General Laborer is responsible for running the laminator, bandsaw, and baler machines efficiently. This associate will also complete basic machine adjustments as needed and ensure the quality of all fiberglass insulation rolls during the lamination process.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Performs daily safety checks on all equipment and follows all safety procedures effectively
Operates laminator, completes routine adjustments and performs machine maintenance
Lifts, opens, and completes the re-packaging process of the fiberglass insulation rolls including safely maneuvering materials that weigh up to 100 lbs.
Loads and unloads product and materials into and off of trucks
Maintains order and tidiness in the production area during shift
Operates forklift to move raw materials and product
Follows all safety policies and protocols while performing job duties
Performs other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

Requirements

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent, required
One year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Ability to operate a forklift
Will be on your feet for 8 hours plus and will be required to work in cold and warm weather
Basic math and measurement skills
Mechanical troubleshooting abilities
Steel toed shoes are required
