The City of Sunnyvale is actively seeking highly enthusiastic, innovative, and adaptable individuals to join the Environmental Services Department. The department is looking for a candidate with comprehensive knowledge of Wastewater Operations, Process, Equipment, Construction Management and Project Management. On the Process side, knowledge of physical/chemical processes, biological, separations and disinfection are needed. On the Equipment side, knowledge of various equipment vendors and their products are needed. Ability to review design documents related to wastewater processes is needed. Strength in water chemistry, process research, experience in pilot operations and regulatory knowledge is a big plus. Candidates must exhibit excellent problem-solving skills; a strong ability to communicate effectively and proactively both orally and in writing; and the capability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
