Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer / Pipe Installer and be a vital part of building essential infrastructure! In this energetic role, you will assist with the installation and maintenance of underground utility systems, including wastewater, sanitary drainage, stormwater, and water supply pipelines. Duties
- Assist in the installation of underground utilities such as sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater, and sanitary drainage systems following detailed construction plans and blueprint specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to prepare trenches and move materials efficiently.
- Perform construction trenching activities ensuring proper depth and alignment for pipe installation projects.
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment like pipe lasers for precise pipe placement and alignment.
- Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation to prevent damage or accidents.
- Follow all safety protocols in accordance with federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Skills
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and front loader truck.
- Experience with pipe installation techniques using pipe lasers and other precision tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
- Knowledge of wastewater systems, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and underground utilities installation.
- Familiarity with safety regulations specific to federal construction sites and general construction safety protocols.
- Skilled in using hand tools for concrete finishing, pipe fitting, and general construction tasks.
- Understanding of pipeline installation processes within oil & gas or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings related to sewer line installation and utility trenching projects.
- Experience with concrete forming and finishing is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all phases of construction work.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
