CCWA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Water Treatment Plant Superintendent at the recently expanded and upgraded Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Class I water plant operator in the State of Georgia with at least ten years of water industry experience and five years supervisory experience. Post secondary education and training are desired. Strong computer skills are required.
The Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant utilizes conventional treatment processes to treat consistently low turbidity raw water from the Snake Creek Reservoir. This modern 12-MGD facility is newly updated, well maintained and operated to produce high-quality water. The Georgia Association of Water Professional has awarded the Platinum Award to Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant for the past 8 years for adherence to regulatory compliance.
