NATURE OF WORK:In this pivotal role, the incumbent will be a cornerstone resource for employees, providing vital support with computer or technical inquiries to ensure seamless operations across departments. Adaptability is key, particularly in critical emergencies, where prompt activation and adeptness in evolving situations are crucial. While bilingual proficiency is advantageous, it's not mandatory, as effective communication with diverse stakeholders remains a priority. Responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum, including verifying sewer payments,
utilizing tools such as Utilisphere, Mapworks, Sunshine 811, Infor, ProjectDox, and historical records in collaboration with various departments. Furthermore, duties extend to office supply management, interview scheduling, and fulfilling diverse assignments from supervisors. Additionally, the candidate will take a leadership role as the primary Wastewater Specialist, handling customer inquiries, assessing urgency, and directing matters to the appropriate department within the City of Orlando. Finally, you will be considered emergency personnel requiring you to report to work prior to or after natural disasters (Hurricane, Torrential Rain …etc).
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years’ experience in wastewater collection or a related area, with the ability to read and interpret maps, charts, blueprints and engineering drawings; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must demonstrate Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel proficiency

- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
