Job Responsibilities:
- Performs basic and routine duties in a wide range of environmental disciplines to aid in maintaining compliance with internal EHS standards and, federal and state regulatory requirements
- Prepares and submits appropriate environmental documents, plans, and reports, as required by various internal, local, state and federal agencies
- Ensure waste types are properly segregated, regulatory shipment windows are met, proper container labeling is adhered to, good housekeeping is maintained and accurate tracking logs are kept.

- Manage Air Quality Permitting efforts
- Manage Wastewater Permitting efforts
- Manage Emergency Response efforts– maintaining up-to-date One Plan (RCRA contingency plan, OSHA emergency response plan/emergency action plan, OSHA fire prevention plan), RCRA Quick Reference Guide, providing plans to local agencies, making arraignments with local agencies, spill/release reporting
- Manage Stormwater efforts
- Manage Transportation efforts– Ensuring compliance with hazardous material/dangerous goods transportation regulations and local shipping policy
Job Requirements:
- 5-8 yrs of EHS experience with bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational safety, health, biological, chemical or a closely related discipline.
- In depth knowledge of federal, state and local regulations regarding air, land, water, and regulated waste environmental compliance
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written/oral), and organizational skills required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
