The Wastewater Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment used within the Village’s wastewater facilities and infrastructure. The position focuses on extending the serviceable life of pumps, motors, control systems, and associated wastewater equipment. Work involves both scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs under the direction of the Wastewater Operations Manager. Minimum Qualifications: Trade School Certificate and two (2) years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices used in mechanical and electrical maintenance of wastewater systems.
