Responsibilities
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) to manage water treatment processes efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on pumps, filters, valves, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collect and analyze data related to water quality parameters, system performance, and chemical dosing to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform heavy equipment operation including tankers, pumps, and construction machinery as needed for system upgrades or repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on treatment plant equipment.
- Assist with plumbing tasks and basic math calculations for chemical dosing and system adjustments.
- Support wastewater treatment processes by monitoring flow rates, sedimentation tanks, and filtration units while adhering to safety protocols involving heavy lifting and construction activities.
Qualifications
- Water Treatment certification - Level I
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
