Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Wastewater Operator role located in Canton, GA. The Wastewater Operator will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities and systems. Core responsibilities include overseeing plant operations, maintaining pump stations, monitoring process controls, and managing water and wastewater treatment tasks. Adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency will be key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Plant Operations, including monitoring and maintenance of equipment
- Expertise in Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment protocols
- Proficiency in Process Control, ensuring optimal system operation and performance
- Knowledge of Pump Stations, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations governing water and wastewater management
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications and testing licenses are a plus
- Previous experience in water or wastewater treatment operations is highly valued
