Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and repairing water treatment equipment. Your duties will include performing wastewater treatment, and ensuring the proper functioning of water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform heavy lifting.
Duties:
- Analyze water samples to determine treatment requirements
- Operate and maintain water treatment equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
- Monitor and adjust chemical dosages to ensure optimal water quality
- Conduct regular inspections of water treatment facilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with water treatment equipment. Including emergency situations and responding to callouts.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement improvement initiatives
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in water treatment or a related field is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for equipment repair
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as pumps, valves, and filters
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
Pay is on a monthly schedule.
