Seeking a Domestic Water [production & distribution] Systems Manager/Trainee [industry term is an Operator] in Aspen, Colorado.
The company prioritizes a very flexible work schedule and a higher hourly pay [for aspects described below], and provides on-the-job general liability & workers' compensation insurance coverage. Stable housing in Aspen, Snowmass or the Basalt area required for response time.
Position is part-time in winter, full-time in spring, summer & fall (hourly). Current staff all blend other jobs or commitments with this position. Work weeks are always Mondays [facility checks], and in winter ~3 week days [typically Mon-Wed], from end-April through mid-October schedule is four 10hr field days, 9am-7 pm, Mon-Thur.
Company works in/with: Intuit WorkForce software/app for time entries, Google Workspace [w Keep, Drive, shared documents, etc...] , Asana, ArcGIS, text threads, and on 2 different radio networks. There are uniforms, safety equipment needs, etc...
Detailed mobile & computer time-entry requirements. Need a late model, high-end smartphone. Heavy mobile phone & app work, radio communications, tech gear management [on-person tools, keys, radios, Bluetooth speaker-phone, flashlight, phone power bank, etc...] team-work and group communication.
Routine Tasks: Frequent system monitoring from phone & home computer, significant task administration & management, significant pictures & Wi-Fi uploading to shared Google folders, and data compilation & communication - via text, phone, apps, email, shared Google Drive documents, folders, etc...
In-field Work: significant in-field work from your personal vehicle/truck, best is a mid-size pick-up truck capable of pulling trailers, w 2" hitch & 2" ball. Roof rack also helpful. Will be transporting supplies in cab, and tools & equipment in the bed.
Home-Office space & equipment necessary: internet, computer, 2 monitors minimum, webcam, separate keyboard & mouse, Google Meeting virtuals, heavy calendaring, email, text-strings, etc... ]
