Department: Water Treatment Plant

Our Water Treatment Plant team is seeking a dedicated Water Plant Operator (Class A, B, or C) – Gas Control to help us produce high‑quality drinking water and support reliable utility services for the customers we proudly serve.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct water sampling and laboratory tests
- Monitor and adjust chemical dosages
- Manage gas usage to maintain system pressure
- Perform plant inspections and basic maintenance
- Respond to customer utility calls and dispatch personnel
- Complete required reports and regulatory documentation
- Assist with training of junior operators
- Operate a variety of plant and laboratory equipment
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of experience in water plant operations (or equivalent)
- Valid Class A, B, or C Water Operator Certification or ability to obtain Trainee Permit
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Willingness to complete ongoing continuing education
Pay Range (Based on Certification Level):
Trainee – Grade 9: $41,662 – $58,302; Class C – Grade 13: $52,104 – $72,924; Class B – Grade 15: $57,324 – $80,228; Class A – Grade 17: $62,545-$87,568
