Wastewater Treatment Operator Requirements:
- 1+ Year of Wastewater Treatment or Related Industrial Experience preferred
- SC Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator License (D,C, B or A) required
- Commercial/Industrial wastewater treatment experience required
- Knowledge of wastewater systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and operation of pumps, valves, generators, and sludge equipment preferred
- Science or basic lab testing skills (pH, chlorine, BOD, TSS, ammonia, fecal coliform) is a plus

Wastewater Treatment Operator Responsibilities:
- This role involves operating and maintaining wastewater treatment systems and equipment
- Responsibilities include monitoring processes, adjusting chemical levels, testing samples, performing maintenance on pumps and valves, and troubleshooting system issues
- Managing chemical supplies, and performing adjustments to control wastewater flow and processing
- Additional responsibilities will involve assisting in daily operation
- Maintenance and monitoring of wastewater treatment processes to insure efficient plant operations
- Maintains a clean work area
- Operate machines in a safe manner
