Seeking Grade 3+ Water System Operator Experts in Distribution and Treatment
Lumina Datamatics is seeking experienced Water System Operator Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a high-profile textbook revision initiative. If you have hands-on experience in water treatment or water distribution operations and an interest in contributing to industry-standard learning materials, we’d love to connect!
Project Details:
This project involves revising a series of Water System Operations textbooks aligned to Water Professionals International (WPI, formerly ABC) certification standards. Each SME will collaborate with a developmental editor to revise one assigned textbook (approximately 15–20 chapters / 400–500 pages). SMEs will review existing content, update it to reflect current industry practices, with emphasis on emerging contaminants, advanced treatment methods, and new technologies. A key goal of this revision is to simplify the reading level while maintaining technical accuracy and real-world relevance. The SME will be responsible for producing a sample chapter, followed by first and final draft manuscripts, and participating in copyediting and page-proof review stages.
