Babcock Ranch is hiring Water & Wastewater operators for Town & Country Utilities. These positions are responsible for the operation of the water and/or wastewater treatment plant to ensure proper operation and compliance with all regulatory permits. On the water treatment plant side this includes from well supply to the customer’s water meter. On the wastewater side, from the customer’s connection to the ultimate disposal of reclaimed water. The position will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory compliance reports. Routine maintenance of the treatment plants and instruments used to operate and maintain the treatment process. This position may require flexible shifts worked including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Review of operational parameters
- Review compliance levels
- Review of system performance reports
- Efficient operation of the treatment plant process(es)
- Emergency operating decisions
- Routine maintenance of equipment
- Preparation of operating reports
- Implementation of best industry practices
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma.
- FDEP Licensed with at least a C license; B or A preferred.
- Operation of Nano-filtration water treatment and/or sequencing batch reactor wastewater treatment preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in treatment plants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel.
