Role Overview
The Senior Project Engineer is a key technical leader within our Wastewater Solutions Division, responsible for managing and engineering high-impact projects across the Food & Beverage sector. You will drive the design of customized treatment systems, mentor junior engineers, and ensure timely delivery within budget and compliance standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering and project management activities for large-scale wastewater treatment and water reclamation projects
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define scope, goals, and deliverables
- Design comprehensive treatment systems using advanced technologies, including:
- Anaerobic digestion
- Membrane bioreactors (MBR)
- Dissolved air flotation (DAF)
- Nutrient reduction (biological/chemical)
- Biogas recovery and water reuse systems
- Conduct feasibility studies, budget development, permitting documentation, and regulatory alignment
- Ensure quality engineering deliverables through detailed design, AutoCAD/3D modeling, and process documentation
- Supervise and mentor team members, fostering growth through hands-on guidance and technical leadership
- Oversee project scheduling, cost control, and risk management strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ Years of wastewater treatment engineering and/or design
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects and teams
- Deep understanding of biological, chemical, and physical wastewater treatment processes
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and project tracking tools
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
