Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises multiple shifts for the 24-hour facility operation
- Trains employees in procedures and methods
- Makes general work assignments and establishes work standards
- Makes regular inspections of equipment and facility
- Assists with plant operations and maintenance as necessary
- Makes adjustments to process parameters
- Orders necessary equipment and supplies for the efficient operation of the facility
- Assists facility manager with the development of operating policies and procedures
- Maintains operational data logs, inventories, equipment data, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a associate's degree
- Valid driver's license
- Valid Class 1 Wastewater Work Operator Licenses from the State of Virginia, Department of Professional and Occupation Regulation
