Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervises multiple shifts for the 24-hour facility operation
Trains employees in procedures and methods
Makes general work assignments and establishes work standards
Makes regular inspections of equipment and facility
Assists with plant operations and maintenance as necessary
Makes adjustments to process parameters
Orders necessary equipment and supplies for the efficient operation of the facility
Assists facility manager with the development of operating policies and procedures
Maintains operational data logs, inventories, equipment data, etc.
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a associate's degree
Valid driver's license
Valid Class 1 Wastewater Work Operator Licenses from the State of Virginia, Department of Professional and Occupation Regulation
