Position Summary

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Manage project(s) in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with disciplines and subconsultants to develop a risk-averse project scope and fee.
- Develop project-specific plans, including Project Management Plans and quality management plans.
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Effectively manage subconsultants.
- Monitor and execute project progress, including identifying and mitigating risks, and developing extra work order requests.
- Clearly communicate project statuses, updates, and issues to stakeholders.
- Participate in financial status meetings within the office.
- Foster and build relationships with clients to align with their preferences and requirements for project quality.
- Prepare progress reports and manage invoice reviews.
- Lead project status meetings and presentations.
- Assist with marketing processes including proposals and interviews.
- Coordinate and guide technical resources within the team for high-quality outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and coaching through individual meetings and project debriefs to promote development and learning.
- Lead and manage team members, fostering growth and development through leadership and performance management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- Registered Professional Engineer status.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the field.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering water and wastewater projects from design through construction phases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience
- Certification such as CAPM or PMP.
- Experience with local clients at county and state levels.
- Familiarity with various project delivery methods like Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Working Conditions
- The majority (95%) of work is conducted within a general office environment, featuring adequate lighting and temperature, and minimal exposure to noise or other negative factors. Occasionally, fieldwork is required, which may involve exposure to outdoor elements (heat, cold, wet/humid, dry/arid conditions). Light lifting (up to 25 lbs) may also be required.
