Job Description
- Work with Safety & Compliance to ensure compliance with all city, county, state and federal wastewater standards.
- This would include, but not limited to, monitoring all chemical feeds to achieve proper operating pH’s and ORP’s by adding appropriate chemicals as needed.
- Understanding of chemical composition.
- Will be required to move heavy drums (600 lbs) of chemicals and/or solutions to various locations throughout the facility with the use of lifting and moving equipment: forklift, pallet jack, hand truck and dollies.
- Will be required to operate the filter presses and remove the sludge cakes when full.
- Monitor water tank levels and perform maintenance as needed to maintain safety standards.
- Responsible for all safety issues associated with the waste treatment area, under the guidance of Safety & Compliance that meet OSHA and DEP standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance on Machinery.
- Keep logs of chemicals being used and distributed throughout the production area.
- Monitor and clear floor of chemical drums and label for Hazardous Waste pickup.
- Work with the Safety Committee on punch list items to keep chemicals and wastewater treatment in compliance with city, county, state and federal agencies.
- Interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Required to communicate with all levels of management.
Preferred Experience
- Familiar with reverse osmosis water production systems, including the cleaning and maintenance of the filtering system, both chemically and mechanically.
- Pool Technician - mix chemicals for proper ph of pool.
- Plumbing.
- Knowledgeable in waste chemical disposal storage.
- Working experience with hand and electrical tools.
- Familiar with OSHA Requirements.
- Forklift Certified. If not, willing to be certified.

ITAR Facility will require pre-employment drug screening.
Monday thru Friday 7am - 4:30pm.
Some overtime may be required.
