The Wastewater Service Worker II performs routine technical activities related to the inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of public services systems. Operates a variety of tools, vehicles, and equipment to accomplish assignments. Interacts and communicates with departmental supervisors and leaders, personnel, and the public during daily assignments. Work usually requires maintaining close engineering tolerances.
Work is performed under general supervision with moderate latitude in the use of initiative. Position exercises some independent judgment in accordance with defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Reports to Wastewater Supervisor or designee.
