Responsibilities

Responsible for managing eight wastewater treatment facilities in the Ohio River Valley region.
Develop and implement internal processes related to shipment sampling and management ensuring shipments are routed to the proper processing locations.
Oversee environmental compliance of wastewater treatment facilities including federal, state, and local air, water and waste regulations.
Act as company representative with federal, state and local Agencies.
Keep up to date on new and upcoming environmental regulations that may affect facilities.
Perform EHS reviews of procedure manuals, SOPs, and operating and maintenance instructions.
Conduct environmental compliance audits and perform training based on findings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years in an environmental position with wastewater treatment responsibilities.
Travel: willingness to travel 40-50% of the time to support multiple facilities (6-8 facilities) all east of MS, Cincinnati is the central location.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software with excellent computer skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to write both routine and non-routine reports and develop effective presentations.
