Your day to day as a Water Plant Operator
As a Full-Time Water Plant Operator at the City of East Moline, you will work under the general supervision of the Lead Operator and the Director of Water Filtration, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our water supply. Your primary responsibilities will include controlling advanced water treatment plant machines and equipment, as well as monitoring the distribution system to maintain appropriate chemical levels in accordance with EPA regulations. By ensuring compliance, you will contribute to the provision of safe, pure water for human consumption.
