We are committed to ensuring our operations are efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Wastewater Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the efficient operation of the wastewater treatment process.
- Collect and analyze water samples to monitor the effectiveness of the treatment process.
- Maintain accurate records of wastewater treatment operations, including logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wastewater treatment systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve wastewater treatment processes and efficiency.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols.
To qualify for this job, you must have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in wastewater treatment preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wastewater treatment or a related field.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on pumps and motors.
