The West Valley Sanitation District announces an employment opportunity for a Maintenance Worker I or Maintenance Worker II.

Salary: $75K - $100K Annually

Maintenance Worker I is a skilled level class and Maintenance Worker II is a journey level class in the Maintenance Worker Series.

Under general supervision or direction, the Maintenance Worker performs a variety of wastewater collection system maintenance duties assigned, including but not limited to:

Clean, televise, inspect, repair, clear, locate, and construct District facilities.
Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment such as service trucks, dump trucks with trailers, forklifts, skid loaders, Vactor trucks, rodder trucks, emergency generators and pumps, CCTV van, and others.
Traffic control and set and dismantle traffic control devices;
Routine maintenance of vehicles and equipment, small equipment, hand tools, yard, and facilities.
Serve on the on-call rotation for service calls during non-work hours, weekends, and holidays.
