Boron Community Services District is seeking a skilled and dependable operator to join our team in a dual-roleposition covering both water distribution and wastewater operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe delivery of potable water and support the proper operation of the wastewater collection system – maintaining compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Salary: $50K - $75K Annually

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate, maintain, and repair water distribution systems to include lines, meters, hydrants, and valves.

· Monitor and maintain wastewater collection system.

· Respond to system issues and emergencies across both services.

· Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.

· Participate in on-call rotations and safety programs.

Minimum Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED.

· Valid California Driver’s License.

· Water Distribution Grade II Certification.

· Wastewater Operator Grade I Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

· Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to work in the field in all weather.
